Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
- 1 medium onion diced
- - salt and pepper
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon better than bouillon roasted garlic chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon each ground thyme and rosemary
- 1 cup instant barley
How To Make mushroom and barley bake

Step 1Preheat oven 350 degrees. Add butter to Dutch oven. Saute the garlic, mushrooms, and onions with salt and pepper until the mushrooms have given up their moisture and onions are softened.

Step 2Mix the water, bouillon, thyme and rosemary together Pour into the dutch oven. Add the barley. Stir then place a lid on the pan and place in the oven. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes

Step 3Fluff with fork to serve.
