Ingredients

  • 4 c
    tightly packed bread pieces
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    sage
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/3 to 2 c
    hot broth

How to Make Mom's Dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine all ingredients except broth in baking dish.
  3. Add broth slowly because dressing needs to be "real" moist but not soupy.
  4. Bake covered for 20 minutes. Than bake another 2 minutes uncovered to brown top.
