My Mom, Doris St. John, made these beans since the 1970s. They are great for BBQs, and picnics, or any large gathering. I am not sure where she got the recipe, but these beans are addictive…once you have a bite you can’t stop! Miss you Mom!????

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 1 - chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1-15 ounce can butter beans
- 1-15 ounce can green beans
- 1-15 ounce can kidney beans
- 1-15 ounce garbanzo beans
- 1-28 ounce can baked beans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Step 1Preheat oven 350 degrees

Step 2Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.

Step 3Sauté onion in bacon fat; add the brown sugar, mustard, and vinegar.

Step 4Cook on low for 10 minutes.

Step 5In a large baking dish or roasting pan, combine butter beans, green beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans and baked beans.

Step 6Add bacon mixture

Step 7Mix well, and bake covered for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.
