kathy's cornbread dressing
This took me a few years to get it just right but boy, is it ever right! And it makes a LOT!

Ingredients
- 6 cups cornbread, cubed
- 2-3 cups bread cubes
- 3 - chicken pieces, cooked and torn in pieces
- 1 stick butter
- 3 - celery stalks, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
- 2-3 teaspoons sage, dried
- 1 can campbell's cream of chicken soup
- 1 can campbell's cream of celery soup
- 2-3 cans chicken broth
- 4 - hard boiled eggs, chopped
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make kathy's cornbread dressing

Step 1In large bowl, combine cornbread, breadcubes, chicken and chopped eggs. Set aside.

Step 2In large pan, saute celery, onion and bell pepper in butter.

Step 3Add sage and soups; mix thoroughly. Pour over cornbread mixture. Mix thoroughly to distribute moisture evenly. Add chicken broth as necessary. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4Spread in greased baking dish. Bake covered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake another 15 minutes.
