  • 2 pkg
    shredded cabbage
  • 1 medium
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    white vinegar
  • 3/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard

How to Make Marinated Cole Slaw


  1. Add cabbage, chopped bell pepper and onion. Do not mix. Pour 1 cup of sugar over all.
  2. In a small saucepan add vinegar, oil, salt and dry mustard. Bring to a boil and then pour over cabbage mixture. Do not mix.
  3. Cover and place in refrigerator overnight or for at least 4 hours. Mix before serving. Will last a week in refrigerator.
