Ingredients

  • 1 pound wide egg noodles
  • 12 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 - eggs
  • 20 ounces can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 18 ounces can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • - ground cinamon
  • 3/4 cup sugar

How To Make mandarin orange and pineapple kugel

  • Step 1
    Prepare noodles according to package directions
  • Step 2
    While noodles cook, combine sour cream, ricotta cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs in large mixing bowl, blending until smooth and creamy
  • Step 3
    Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 4
    Drain noodles and add to creamed mixture, mix well
  • Step 5
    Fold in oranges, pineapple and raisins
  • Step 6
    Spread noodle mixture in a 12x8x2 baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon
  • Step 7
    Bake for 45 minutes or until browned crust forms on edge
  • Step 8
    Serve warm
