Ingredients

  • 2 c
    pinto beans, dried
  • 1 can(s)
    of beer opt
  • 1 large
    onion chopped
  • 7 slice
    bacon
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    garlic powder to taste

How to Make Famous Pinto Beans

Step-by-Step

  1. Slow cook for 7 hours. Beans will be very soft with a thick sauce.
  2. Need a pot of water to cover the top. Add additional water as needed, only add 1 cup at a time just enough to keep juice from being too thick. May need to add salt and pepper. Tasting every time before and after you add water.
