low country baked beans
I grew up eating beans. I think it's a Southern thing. This is a wonderful recipe that we eat at home, take to a pot luck or a barbeque at the lake. They are so good and filling. The recipe and picture is from Southern Living.

Ingredients
- 1/2 pound bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can baked beans (53 oz.)
- 1/2 cup grey poupon mustard
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/3 teaspoon hot sauce
How To Make low country baked beans

Step 1Fry chopped bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes or until browned. Add onion; saute until tender. Stir in beans and remaining ingredients; pour into a 13- x 9-inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
