This is an amazing dish and soo delicious. The tasty sauerkraut surprises everyone, even folks like me who don't care for sauerkraut. I always get raves when serving this dish, and requests for the recipe too. Have served samples of these beans to over 200 (in about an hour) for Bean Days, a local hometown celebration. I was told by quite a number that they were the best beans out of many entries.
