HAD THIS AT MY FRIENDS HOUSE N HAD TO HAVE THE RECIPE ....REALLY GOOD! THIS IS A SECONDS KINDA SIDE DISH :)

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 large carrot, peeled n finely chopped
  • 1 large celery stalk, peeled n finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/8 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 large italian bread, cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • - salt n pepper to taste

How To Make just a great stuffing

  • Step 1
    GATHER INGREDIENTS...TRUST ME IT MAKES IT EASIER HAVN ALL READY B4 COOKN :)
  • Step 2
    MELT 1 TBLSPN OF BUTTER IN LARGE PAN N ADD DICED BACON N SAUTE TILL COOKED N CRISP. WITH A SLOTTED SPOON TRANSFER BACON TO LARGE BOWL LEAVN GREASE IN PAN.
  • Step 3
    MELT REMAINN BUTTER ON MED/HIGH HEAT N ADD ONIONS CARROTS, CELERY, ROSEMARY N GARLIC. SAUTE UNTIL ONIONS R SOFT ADD CHOPPED PARSLEY N STIR TO COMBINE.
  • Step 4
    POUR ONION MIXTURE INTO COOKED BACON IN LARGE BOWL. ADD CUBED BREAD N PARMESEAN N TOSS TO COAT. ADD ENOUGH BROTH TO MOISTEN. SEASON WITH SALT N PEPPER (1/4 TSP OF EACH)...MIX IN BEATEN EGG.
  • Step 5
    SPOON BREAD STUFFING MIXTURE INTO AN 8" BAKING DISH (OR SAME)...COVER WITH FOIL N BAKE IN PREHEATED 350 OVEN FOR 30 MINUTES THEN REMOVE FOIL N BAKE FOR 15 MORE MINUTES...ENJOY :)
