These are so easy to make without all the preservatives you get from buying in the can. I like to also add bacon but didn't have any..... Bacon doesn't last long in this house! LOL

Ingredients
- 1 pound dryed navy beans
- 1 large white onion
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup molassas
- 1 tablespoon liguid smoke
- 1 tablespoon grey poupon
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup ketchup
How To Make homemade crock pot baked beans

Step 1Rinse and drain your navy beans and add with fresh water in a large crock pot. (You can soak them over night)

Step 2Turn on high and cook until tender but not mushy. Drain the juice Add diced onion

Step 3In a mixing bowl combine all other ingredients, mix up and add to your beans an onions. Cook on low for another hour.
