I make this for Thanksgiving and everyone loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 can sliced peaches
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 can (8oz) can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans (17oz) yams

How To Make holiday yams

  • Step 1
    Drain peaches, reserve juice. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4c of juice, set aside.
  • Step 2
    In lg skillet heat remaining juice, brown sugar and cranberries, cinnamon and butter. When butter is melted add cornstarch mixture, Stir over medium heat untill thick.
  • Step 3
    Add yams, cover and cook 10 minutes. Stir in peaches and cook 5 more minutes.
