Hakka noodles veg recipe is one of the easiest recipe that can be made at home like restaurant style. Serve with chilli chicken or chilli paneer

Ingredients

  • 200 grams noodles
  • 2 medium bell peppers
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium capsicum
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 small cabbage
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 1/3 teaspoon pepper powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cooking oil
  • 1/3 cup green scallions

How To Make hakka noodles veg

  • Step 1
    Heat enough water in a pan with one teaspoon oil and small pinch of salt.
  • Step 2
    Add the noodles and boil till 90% done. Drain and wash for 2 to 3 times to remove any excess starch from the noodles.
  • Step 3
    Spread them in a wide open utensil or working table to absorb any moisture.
  • Step 4
    Cut carrot, bell peppers and capsicum into julienne. Finely shredded the cabbage and slice the onion.
  • Step 5
    Heat oil and fry the chopped garlic and ginger till light brown. Add onion, carrot, capsicum, bell peppers and cabbage one of one.
  • Step 6
    Stir them for one to two minutes. Don't overcook them. Keep them crunchy.
  • Step 7
    Add the boiled noodles and mix well with the vegetables. Add salt, pepper and soya sauce.
  • Step 8
    Mix everything nicely. Top them with green scallions and serve.
