granpa sloan's dumplings
This a recipe was my Grandpas, He has been gone for 15 years now and i can still see him in the kitchen making these on thanksgiving morning, we used to fight over these! My mom started making them after grandpa passed and now my mom has passed so now its my turn ????

Ingredients
- 1-5 cup ap flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (per cup of flour)
- 1 tablespoon crisco (per cup of flour)
- enough - water to make dough
- 2 - 14 oz. conainers of chicken broth
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make granpa sloan's dumplings

Step 1Bring Broth and 1/2 cup water to boil.

Step 2Roll dough into 1 1/4 inch balls.

Step 3Drop balls of dough in to broth, DO NOT STIR!! shake pan to coat balls and once and while to ensure they dont stick to botom, cook till a little firm you will have to ajust to desired doneness.
