Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup beer (any brand)
  • vegetables (see below)
  • soy oil for deep frying

How To Make foolproof batter for deep fried vegetables

  • Step 1
    Frying temperature 350°.
  • Step 2
    Mix flour and beer together in a covered container. refrigerate for 3-4 hours before using.
  • Step 3
    Dip vegetables in batter. Deep fry in soybean oil.
  • Step 4
    This coating can be used for coating any deep-fried vegetable like mushrooms, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato slices, or onion rings. Drain on paper towels or brown paper bags.
  • Step 5
    Serve piping hot.
