Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
- 12 ounces frozen edamame, shelled and thawed
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup carrot matchsticks
- 1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
- black sesame seeds for garnish
How To Make edamame salad

Step 1Place the oil in a pan and add the garlic and sesame seeds. Cook about 3 minutes until the garlic sizzles but does not burn.

Step 2Add the edamame to the pan, cover, and let it sit 4 or 5 minutes.

Step 3Remove the cover and cook. Increase the heat and cook until the edamame sizzles, about 5 more minutes.

Step 4Remove from the heat and add the juice of 1 lemon. Stir in the carrots and cabbage.

Step 5Taste and season with salt. Garnish with black sesame seeds.
