Our 7th grade Home Ec teacher taught this super easy recipe. It's made in my home kitchen, now and then, for the sake of nostalgia.

  • 1 can(s)
    (lrg) plain vegetarian baked beans or pork and beans
  • 1/4 c
    bar-b-que sauce ( i use mesquite flavored)
  • 1/4 c
    sauteed onions, or more if desired
  • 1/4 c
    diced, cooked bacon
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese ( i use longhorn or extra sharp cheddar cheese)

How to Make Easy Bar-b-qued Baked Beans


  1. Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees for thirty minutes or until bubbly.
  2. I top this dish with shredded cheese just out of the oven and prior to serving. May also be topped with extra sauteed or fresh diced onions.
