An easy dish using canned pork and beans, with a little Lone Star twist.

  • 2 can(s)
    pork & beans, 25 oz each
  • 3/4 c
    dr pepper soda
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1
    large onion, chopped
  • 6 slice
    thick cut bacon

How to Make Dr Pepper Texas Baked Beans


  1. Grease bean pot or a 2-quart casserole.
  2. Mix beans, Dr. Pepper, catsup, mustard, and onion. Pour into bean pot or 2-quart casserole.
  3. Cut bacon in 2" lengths. Arrange bacon on top.
  4. Bake 1-1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees.
