When I was growing up, my mother went to a Bible class every Monday night at White's Ferry Road in West Monroe. I was responsible for the meal that night. I always made these deviled eggs to go with whatever Mama left to heat up.

Ingredients
- 12 - hard boiled eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon louisiana hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon dill pickle relish
How To Make deviled eggs

Step 1Cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and mash with a fork.

Step 2Add all other ingredients except mayonnaise.

Step 3Add the mayonnaise (may have to add more for desired consistency).

Step 4Fill the egg whites with the mixture. Sprinkle with paprika. Chill until serving time.
