Aunt Roselles recipe. She is from the deep south where they take their mac & cheese very seriously, so you KNOW this has got to be good !

Ingredients
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 stick butter, melted
- CRUMB TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
How To Make crock pot mac & cheese

Step 1Cook the macaroni according to package directions until almost tender.

Step 2Mix the cooked macaroni with all the remaining ingredients (except 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese) in a large bowl. Pour mixture into a well greased crock pot.

Step 3Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

Step 4Cook with the crock pot set on low for 3 hours. DO NOT COOK ANY LONGER THAN 3 HOURS OR YOUR MACARONI WILL BECOME DRY AND STICKY.

Step 5To make the topping, melt 1 Tablespoon butter and mix in with the dry bread crumbs. When ready to serve, sprinkle topping onto the macaroni and enjoy !!
