cowboy baked beans
There are many variations of baked beans. I like this one that has a little bit of a bite from the jalapeno and love the smokey flavor.

Ingredients
- 30 ounces pork and beans (2 cans)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon jalapeno nacho rings, finely chopped
- 3 dashes liquid smoke, optional (about 3 drops)
- 3 slices bacon, raw
How To Make cowboy baked beans

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2Mix all ingredients together except for bacon. Pour into a two-quart casserole.

Step 3Top with bacon.

Step 4Bake for approximately one hour.

Step 5Remove bacon and stir before serving.

Step 6NOTE: I usually just chop up the bacon and add it to the other ingredients before baking.
