Very easy and really good recipe! Great for a cookout or family dinner. I usually bake mine in a 9x13 pan. You can also increase ingredients or decrease depending on your crowd size. Spicy kielbasa or metts can also be switched for a spicier dish!

Ingredients

  • 3 cans country style bush baked beans
  • 1 can butter beans (drained)
  • 1 can pinto or navy beans (drained)
  • 1 cup diced onions (or to taste)
  • 1 package metts/kielbasa sausage/turkey sausage - sliced in medium slices
  • 4 tablespoons catsup
  • 4 tablespoons yellow mustard

How To Make cowboy baked beans

  • Step 1
Mix all ingredients and bake for 350 for approximately 1 hour or until thoroughly heated and thickened. Sometimes, I drain my butter/pinto/navy beans, sometimes I don’t. It all depends on how thick I want them, or how long I bake them. Experimenting with this makes it better! I’ve also used jalapeño sausage/metts…. Wonderful if you like it a bit spicy!
