In the 1960's a Supper Club closed in our area. It was a special treat for our family to go on Sunday after church because they had corn fritters. This was their recipe and a requested dish for birthdays and special occasions. Hope you enjoy them as much as we have. Helen

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons powder milk
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 cup cream style corn
- - powdered sugar
How To Make corn fritters

Step 1Heat oil to 355 degrees in heavy pan or deep fryer.

Step 2In a bowl-sift together first 5 ingredients. Mix together next 4 ingredients, and add to dry ingredients. Mix well.

Step 3Drop by rounded teaspoons into hot hot. Allow to get quite dark brown.Remove one and split open to see if done in center. Remove and drain. Shake in paper bag with powdered sugar. Serve hot. Makes 28 fritters.
