chef jo's sweet & tangy barbecue sauce
This is yummy, I'm going to grill some chicken and slather this all over it! It's got a lovely thick consistency which makes it cling to the meat.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons goat butter
- 1 small onion minced
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup filtered water
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup vegetarian worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons carob molasses
- 2 tablespoons liquid organic honey
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground pablano peppers (or less if you dont' like it spicy)

Step 1In a large pot melt the butter over medium heat. Mince the onion and put it in the pot with the butter and cook until it's soft.

Step 2Add all the other ingredients and bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 30 minutes, stirring occasionaly.
