I got this recipe many years ago from a friend of my Mother in law.It's always a hit with everyone. It's been pasted on to all my friends and family.

fresh or frozen cranberries
2 c
1 c
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp

How to Make Candied Cranberries


  • 1Mix all ingredients in a large sauce pan.
  • 2Bring to a boil until berries have come to the top.
  • 3Reduce heat to low.
  • 4Cover tightly and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • 5Do not remove cover during cooking.
  • 6After 15 minutes remove from heat and let cool.
  • 7Do not lift cover until pan is comepletely cold.
  • 8You can store in the frig. for several weeks.
