- 6 medium yams or 2 (17 oz) cans
- 1/2 cup karo syrup (dark or light) ( i use light maple syrup)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar ( i use splenda brown sugar)
- 1/4 cup cream, canned
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make butterscotch yams

Step 1arrange yams in single layer in 9x13 inch baking dish. in heavy 2 quart saucepan combine remaining ingredients. stirring constantly, bring to a boil.

Step 2pour over yams and bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes, basting frequently.
