6 mediumyams or 2 (17 oz) cans

1/2 ckaro syrup (dark or light) ( i use light maple syrup)

1/2 cbrown sugar ( i use splenda brown sugar)
-
1/4 ccream, canned

2 Tbspmargarine
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspcinnamon
How to Make Butterscotch Yams
- arrange yams in single layer in 9x13 inch baking dish. in heavy 2 quart saucepan combine remaining ingredients. stirring constantly, bring to a boil.
- pour over yams and bake in 325 oven for 30 minutes, basting frequently.
