How to Make Bread Stuffing
- Cook onion in butter.
- Combine with bread crumbs and seasonings.
- Toss with enough liquid to moisten crumbs.
- If you want to stuff the bird, do so at this time. I like to put mine in a jelly roll pan and brown the crumbs under the broiler first.
- Makes enough to stuff a 5 lb. chicken. For a 10 lb turkey, you will need to double the recipe.
