This is a fav I keep going back to time and time again....delicious with just about anything, great on burgers, sandwiches or just on the side!!

Ingredients
- 16 cups unpeeled, regular cucumbers sliced thin
- 6 medium onions sliced thin
- 1 large red pepper seeded and slivered
- 1 large green pepper, seeded and sliverd...this time i opted for 3 jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 cup coarse pickling salt
- 5 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons mustard seed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 1/2 teaspoons celery seed
- 3 cups white vinegar
How To Make bread & butter pickles

Step 1Place sliced cucumbers, onions and peppers in a large non metal bowl. Sprinkle the salt over top and mix. Cover and leave on your counter for 3 hours. After 3 hours drain well. Mix together the last 5 ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Add all the cuke mixture and bring to a boil. Ladle into hot sterilized jars filling to within 1 inch of top. pour the syrup from pot over the pickles.Seal
