boston baked beans
I got this recipe many years ago and have tweaked it a little to my husband's taste (and mine). Hope you like it :)

Ingredients
- 2 cups dried navy beans, soaked overnight
- 1/2 pound bacon, uncooked and chopped; i use maple flavor (i have also used leftover diced honey ham, for a change)
- 1 - onion, peeled and chopped (or diced; your preference)
- 4 tablespoons molasses (i like dark, but both are good)
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard (i use colman's original english)
- 1 teaspoon each, salt and pepper (more or less, to your liking)
How To Make boston baked beans

Step 1Soak beans in water overnight. Drain.

Step 2Mix together all ingredients in slow cooker.

Step 3Add enough water to cover.

Step 4Cook on high for about 8 hours; stirring frequently.
