I can't remember where I found this recipe, but I have made this since before my oldest child was born and she is 29 yrs old now. It's been a favorite of everyone's every time I have made it. There's really not much to it but enjoy!!

    strips crisp bacon
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    baked beans, your choice of brand/favorite
  • 1/2-1 tsp
  • 2-3 Tbsp
  • 2-3 Tbsp
    brown sugar

How to Make Best Baked Beans


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cook bacon til crisp and set aside to cool. Once cooled, crumble.
  3. Saute the chopped onion til yellow. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour into a 1 qt. baking dish and sprinkle the bacon on top.
  5. Bake, uncovered about 45 mins or til beans are bubbly.
