  • 2 can(s)
    28oz bush's original or homestyle baked beans
  • 1/2 medium
    green bell pepper; seeded, deveined and coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 small
    onion; coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 c
    worchestershire sauce
  • 1 or 2 dash(es)
    tobasco sauce or more if you like it spicy
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed; light or dark
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard

How to Make BBQ Baked Beans


  1. Heat oven to 350°
    Coarsely chop bell pepper and onion
  2. Combine beans, bell pepper, onion, Worchestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, brown sugar and mustard in a mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
  3. Choose a deep round or square baking dish; spray the bowl with cooking spray and pour in the bean mixture.
  4. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Stir; cook for additional 30 minutes. Serve warm.
  5. Great dish for cookouts!
