baked beans with pork

onion, diced
1 medium
bell pepper, diced

links spicy pork sausage, cut into small chunks
2 Tbsp
chili powder
3 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
4 Tbsp
vinegar
1/2 c
brown sugar, packed
1/2 c
ketchup
1 tsp
garlic powder
salt, to taste
1 dash(es)
cayenne pepper, optional

How to Make Baked Beans Texas Style

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • 2In a Dutch oven, combine the baked beans, onion, bell pepper, and sausage.
  • 3Season with chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic powder and salt. Add a dash of cayenne if desired.
  • 4Cover and bake for one hour in the preheated oven.
