Ingredients
- 43 ounces can of pork & beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cups no salt added ketsup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (trivia brown sugar blend, opt)
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 teaspoons bold & spicy mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse black pepper
- 1/4 cup onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar (added on 9/25/11)
How To Make baked beans-low fat, low sodium

Step 1NOTE: If using Trivia brown sugar blend, use the guide on the package to determine how much to use.

Step 2Drain and thoroughly rinse pork & beans, (the juice is where most of the sodium is). Place in large pot.

Step 3Add one cup of no salt added ketsup, one cup of water, molasses, brown sugar, mustard, pepper & onion. Mix well, simmer on lowest heat for 20-30 min.
