Ingredients
- 8 cups van kamp's pork and beans
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups bbq sauce
- 1 cup karo maple flavor syrup
- 2 teaspoons fresh minced garlic
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons liquid smoke flavoring
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
How To Make baked beans

Step 1This is best made in a cast iron dutch oven. Fry bacon crisp. Remove from bacon grease and drain on paper towels. Crumble when cooled. Saute onion in bacon drippings until tender and remove from bacon grease with a slotted spoon. Remove grease from dutch oven and combine all ingredients in the dutch oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours stirring every 30 minutes.
