How to Make Aunt Gen's Sage Dressing


  • 1breast should be dried and cubed.
  • 2in skillet, melt oleo/butter, dice in celery, onion. Saute till tender. Add water to this and heat to boiling.
  • 3pour over bread which you have sprinkled with salt and sage. Add apples if desired. If it seems a little dry, add a little more water. You want it dampened real well but not soggy.
  • 4Stuff in turkey, but not too tight. Pack extra dressing at either end around neck, liver and gizzard.
