Ingredients
- 1 bag - pepperidge farm stuffing mix (original)
- 1 package jimmy dean sausage
- 1/2 - 1 pounds shitake mushrooms
- 3 large granny smith apples (chopped)
- 3 sticks celery (chopped)
- 1/2 - onion (diced)
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 cans chicken broth, low salt
How To Make apple stuffing

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Sauté onion and celery with sausage until soft. Add chopped mushrooms and apples. Mix together with Pepperridge Farm stuffing mix in a large bowl and add 2 cans of chicken broth and 1 stick of melted butter. If stuffing seems dry, you can add 1 more can of chicken broth. Pour Stuffing mixture into baking dish and bake for 45 minutes to an hour or until the top is brown and crisp
