This reminds me of Bananas Foster and we like it as a side with eggs or quiche.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 3 - bananas, sliced

How To Make sauteed bananas

  • Step 1
    Melt butter. Dissolve cornstarch in water. Add to skillet. Add brown sugar and raisins. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add lemon juice.
  • Step 2
    Slice bananas and stir into mixture. Serve immediately. (Do not cook the bananas.)
