Ingredients For pistachio ambrosia

  • 1 can
    17 oz chunky fruit cocktail
  • 1 can
    20 oz pineapple tidbits
  • 1 can
    11 oz mandarin oranges
  • 2 pkg
    pistachio pudding mix dry
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1
    8 oz cool whip, thawed
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped

How To Make pistachio ambrosia

  • 1
    Drain fruits, reserving 1 1/2 cups of juice. Set fruit aside. Pour juice into a medium bowl. Add dry pudding, mix and stir until smooth. Stir in sour cream. Add cool whip and mix until smooth. Fold in fruit.

    Chill for several hours.

    Top with pecans just before serving.
