1 can(s)
(20 oz) chunk pineapple in juice (undrained)
1 can(s)
(8 oz) crushed pineapple
1/3 c
sugar (can substitute splenda)
3 Tbsp
all-purpose flour
1 c
(4 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c
ritz cracker crumbs
2 Tbsp
butter, melted

How to Make Pineapple Gratin


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 - lightly grease shallow baking dish
  • 2Drain pineapple, reserving 3 tablespoons of juice
  • 3Combine reserved (3 tbls) pineapple juice, sugar and flour
  • 4Stir in pineapple chunks, crushed pineapple and cheese
  • 5Spoon into shallow, lightly greased baking dish.
  • 6Combine cracker crumbs and butter, sprinkle evenly over pineapple mixture
  • 7Bake 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until bubbly
  • 8To double recipe - for 2 quarts - 7 1/2 x 12 casserole
