my cranberry sauce
(1 RATING)
Love the cranberry relish my grandmother use to make as they say back in the day. Well she took her special receipe with her and over the years I have been trying to come up with hers. I come close but this year I tried one I was thinking of, and it turned out good. Mother says she likes it better than my grandmothers. It is easy and it only takes a few ingreidents.

- 1 cup light karo syrup
- 1 cup orange marmalade
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

How To Make my cranberry sauce
-
Step 1Wash and check berries. Place in a medium size sauce pan.
-
Step 2Add all the ingreidents except the white sugar.
-
Step 3Bring to boil and turn down the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes. While it is simmering taste for sweetness. If not sweet enough then add the white sugar at this time, until you get as sweet as desired.
-
Step 4Simmer until the thickness you prefere, then remove from heat. Let cool down and keep in frige.
-
Step 5NOTE: If you feel there may not be enough liquid to get it started. You can add a little water, it will just take a few minutes longer to thicken up.
