The grill isn't just for meat and veggies. Try these grilled apple for your side dish at your next cookout and blow them away with sweet goodness!

  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 4
    large baking apples (macintosh, granny smith or rome)
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, cut into quarters

How to Make Grilled Apples


  1. Combine brown sugar, raisins, nuts and cinnamon in a small bowl; set aside.
  2. Core apples and lace on individual sheets of heavy aluminium foil.
  3. Spoon mixture evenly into center of each apple. Top with butter and wrap tightly in foil.
  4. Place on preheated grill and cover. Cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
