Ingredients
- 12 - large granny smith apples (5 1/2 pounds)
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon american spice vietnamese cinnamon (any cinnamon will be fine)
How To Make crockpot homemade applesauce

Step 1Peel, core, and cut apples into 1 1/2 inch chunks. Place in a large bowl. Toss apples with orange juice when adding to the bowl.

Step 2Toss with sugar and cinnamon.

Step 3Place apple mixture in a 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH 4 hours.

Step 4Stir and mash until desired consistency. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.

Step 5Makes approximately 8 cups.
