Ingredients
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup golden brown sugar, packed
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 2 teaspoons orange peel, grated
How To Make cranberry sauce with orange

Step 1Stir water and sugar in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

Step 2Bring mixture to boil. Add cranberries and orange peel. Reduce heat and simmer until berries burst, about 5 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat.

Step 4Cool completely (sauce will thicken as it cools).

Step 5Can be prepared 1 week ahead. Cover and chill.
