Found this on Nantucket. Loved it ! It only keeps a week so you might want to half the recipe but it is amazing on sweet potatoes and bread for the holidays

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
- 3 sticks 3 sticks butter not margarine
- 12 ounces 12-oz. package ocean spray cranberries, uncooked
How To Make cranberry butter for thanksgiving

Step 1Place all ingredients in food processor and mash until thoroughly mixed. Chill. Serve with hot rolls, toast,sweet potatoes etc.

Step 2If a lighter-flavored cranberry taste is desired, use one more stick of butter and process a little longer
