cranberry and dried cherry relish
So good — and no cooking required. Prepare the relish at least a day ahead, and add more cardamom before serving if you'd like a stronger flavor. From Bon Appetit, November 2001.

Ingredients
- 1 12-oz packages fresh cranberries
- 1 cup dried tart cherries (about 5 ounces)
- 1 cup golden brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
How To Make cranberry and dried cherry relish

Step 1Mix all ingredients in large bowl.

Step 2Place half of mixture in processor. Using on/off turns, process until coarsely chopped. Transfer to medium bowl.

Step 3Repeat with remaining ingredients. Chill at least 1 day and up to 2 days, stirring occasionally. Makes 2 cups.
