I like experimenting each year with a new cranberry sauce, and this delicious sauce won a spot at the table this Thanksgiving!

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup packed, brown sugar
- 1/3 - cup sugar or to taste
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 - 12 ounces bag of fresh cranberries
- 2 - honey crisp apples, peeled and chopped
How To Make ~ cran/apple sauce ~

Step 1In a medium saucepan, whisk together the water, sugar, cinnamon and cloves. Bring to a boil and add the cranberries and apples. Bring back to boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Simmer with lid ajar for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 2Cool, place in container with lid until ready to serve.
