6-8 largeapples, cored, peeled, sliced
1 1/2 ccider vinegar
2 mediumonions, chopped
1 tspcayenne pepper (adjust for taste)
1 cbrown sugar (i prefer dark brown)
How to Make Apple Chutney
- In large saucepan over medium heat, place apples & vinegar. Cook apples down. Add remaining ingredients and sImmer for 30 minutes. Place in air tight containers , keep refrigerated. I suppose you could can these as well, I just never have done that. This keeps well for several months in the fridge.
