1 large egg white optional
2 teaspoons Shaoxing rice wine sake or sherry
2 teaspoons fresh ginger finely grated
1 1/2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon white pepper or black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon (7g) cornstarch
