INGREDIENTS
Too many recipes call for you to pan fry your veggie burgers – we throw these amazing meatless munchies on the barbecue!
Yield: 4 burger patties
Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
Burger Patties
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cups coarse chopped shiitake and portobello mushrooms
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2/3 cup oats
3/4 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten
2 tbs fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp dried oregano
pepper, to taste
Additional Ingredients
whole wheat buns
arugula
dijon mustard
light mayonnaise
hamburger relish
blue cheese, crumbled
