INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted (I use unsalted, use salted for saltier caramels)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup light corn syrup (light in color, not lite)
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
coarse sea salted and/or melted chocolate for dipping, optional
